Chiraiyatand Pul is one of the oldest railway bridge cum flyover in Patna. It connects station road to Kankarbagh and Karbighayia, the other side of railway station. We have included Karbighayia in Chiraiyatand Pul on our website. Apart from station on one side Karbighayia is surrounded by Mithapur and Jakkanpur on other sides.

Chiraiyatand Pul along with Karbighayia has commercial importance as it is next to Railway station. A number of small hotels and inns have come up in Karbighayia. There is now a reservation facility on Karbighayia and a busy auto and taxi stand. It is also very near to New Mithapur Bus Stand.

Chiraiyatand main road, besides Karbighayia Mosque connects to Ashok Nagar in Kankarbagh road number 3. The area is an old area of Patna and is a mix of retail commercial centers and residential houses and buildings. It is densely populated and very crowded with by lanes all over. The Mithapur flyover and Chiraiyatand Pul has caused increased traffic flow in this area leading to frequent traffic snarls
