Patel Nagar is a centrally located residential colony of Patna. It is about 2kms from Patna Airport and 5 kms from Patna railway station. Though the roads are narrow they are numbered which gives a touch of planning to this colony. Patel Nagar is surrounded by IndraPuri, Mahesh Nagar, Shivpuri, Rajbanshi Nagar, BSEB colony and Shastri Nagar, Adarsh Colony, CDA Colony and AG Colony. Apart from numbered roads from 1 to 8 another famous road of Patel Nagar is Dr. Bhattacharya road. Along with the houses a large number of apartments have cropped up intermittently in Patel Nagar.
