Kankarbagh or Kankarbagh Colony is a neighborhood and residential area in Patna. Once touted as Asia's largest colony, is now one of the largest colonies of Asia and population wise it is Asia second largest colony. Kankarbagh colony, or garden of kankar (stone chips) is spread in an area of around 900 acres. This colony is divided sector wise and there are parks for small children to play. The major landmarks at Kankarbagh are Panch Shiv Mandir in west and TV Tower in Bhootnath Roadetc. It has almost all facilities that one requires while living the city life.
